If the Olive Tree Music Academy doesn’t have what you’re looking for to start a music group or to take group lessons, we are still the best equipped to help make it happen! We have a waiting list for Choir, Tabla lessons, and if you want to start any other group, let us know! With well over 100 students and several highly qualified teachers to facilitate, we are excited to match up the right people to help you realize your dream.
A string quartet, a rock band, a jazz combo, an a capella group, a woodwind quintet, piano four hands, duets, trios, and septets. Music played and performed in groups is fun and extra motivating. Students who regularly play in groups develop a better ear, better rhythm, and progress more quickly on their instrument. Every private student is strongly encouraged to also enroll in a small ensemble.
Small ensembles are formed simply by bringing together students of compatible skill levels in a time slot that works best for all parties. The music rehearsed will be performed at the following recital.
One is not required to take private lessons through the Olive Tree Music Academy in order to participate in an ensemble, but should be studying music seriously in some other form. So bring a buddy!
